Jacquard knitting soft merino wool blanket with beautiful Celtic knots and ropes.  The blanket is 127cms X 153cms approx. (50in X 60in) and is knitted using Irish cable stitching said to resemble the fisherman's ropes and brings hopes of a fruitful day at sea. The ladder of life pattern is also used signifying the various stages in life, some say that it has a religious significance and resembles a pilgrim's path to salvation. A cold winters' night won't seem as cold with this soft wool throw.
